Hey ladies,
I'm a stay-at-home mom of two. I have felt there has been something wrong with me since highschool. Now having kids, a household, a husband, and just a busy life I felt very out of control and anxious. It was that hanging by a thread felling. I went in to a mental wellness physician and she started me out on Strattera at 10 mg. I felt sleepy by 2 pm, lost weight (which was fine with me!), but then I had some sexual side effect which was a big problem. The anxiety and out of control feeling was gone though which was wonderful. I just felt I needed the right dosage. So I'm now on Adderall XR 5 mg in the morning. The sexual side effect problem is now gone but I'm not convinced that I'm on a strong enough dose. Can I take two Adderall XR in the morning to try it out or do I need to take 5 mg and then 5 mg in the afternoon. It seems like I get a little rev in the morning and then pooped out by the afternoon. Can you give me your experiences please or if different meds have worked for you?
Thanks!
