I found a new doctor to put me back on adderall but there is one problem and that is my blood pressure is too high! I was 138/90 when I saw him on Monday. He said that he is going to monitor my blood pressure and if it remains too high he will have to adjust my meds ( I currently take 15mgs once a day). He says either give me a lower dose or change meds. Problem is that all the ADHD drugs cause higher blood pressure except for stratterra and my medicaid ( I'm on SSI) won't cover it!! Plus stratterra can cause mood swings and depression in people, or so I have heard. This is not a good thing since I am also bipolar!! I do take an anti depressant and a mood stabilizer called lamictal which helps keep the bipolar under control but does not help with the ADHD.

Anyways if I have to go off the adderall is there any natural ways or techniques to help me cope with my symptoms!!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

How's your general health? I'm also fighting with a blood pressure issue that came out of the blue around the time I started Adderall (5mg XR), and I've gone above and beyond with excercise and eating well to try and help counteract it. Went in today and it lowered to 130/86 from 130/100 a couple weeks ago, and I believe some of that MAY be contributed to a 2 week health binge I went on (and can hopefully stick to).
