Okay...I really used to know the medical terminology that everyone is using to explain their dosages and now I can't seem to remember. What is BID, QID, ect.. I know that it means how many times a day to take the pills but what do each mean. Is BID twice daily? Thanks for any clarification you can give me!

bid=twice daily
tid=4x daily
qid= 4x daily
hs=at bedtime

QD = 1 time a day
BID = 2 times a day
TID= 3 times a day
QID = 4 times a day

thanks! I knew those, but that darn fog sometimes obscures everything. :) I used to work in a vet clinic and helped fill medications and you would think that is something I would remember!
