:D...:D...:D

With Dexedrine, I had that “aha” moment everyone else has posted about. It was awesome. It’s hard for me to describe, basically I seem to have better control over just about everything going on in my head.

I’m taking 5 mg 4 x/day. I was originally prescribed 10 mg 2 x/day. The 10 was way too strong to start out on, so I split them in half and went with 4 doses. It did the trick. I’m also taking 150 mg of Effexor XR for depression. This combo is the ticket for me.

I waited a couple of weeks to post this, since a couple of the other meds seemed to help for the first week or so. So, I got false starts, and after awhile, the effectiveness was gone.

After taking Dexedrine for a couple of weeks, I now know that this is the best I’ve felt in a long, long time. Maybe ever.

One item that bothered me when I started taking Dexedrine was a “buzzy” feeling. I don’t feel the “buzz” anymore; it took about a week and a half to go away.

I’ve got an appointment with my Doc in a few days. I’m going to try the spansules, hopefully they work for me. I’ll see if I can get a 2nd script ready to go for the IR if they don’t. The thing I don’t like about IR is I have to pop pills all day long. If I can get it down to 2 or 3 pills, then that’s progress.

Thanks to everyone who post their experiences on Dexedrine (and the other Meds). Reading your experiences has helped out a ton. I strive to be an informed person, and the information on this site is invaluable in me learning, exploring my newly found AD/HD.

I’ve also learned that everyone is different with the medications. What works for one may not for the other. So this has been my experience. I wish you luck in your search.

If anyone has any advice with the Spansules, I’d be happy to hear from you.
