I ask because I'm not really anymore and it's kind of annoying me, I want that back.

Me, I'm responsive on Strattera now but not quick. I'm rather slow actually, its kind of annoying me how much slower I respond to people. I'm completely unable to take part in high pace conversation, even though I'm thinking quick enough for it, the words don't come off the tip of my tongue like usual anymore.

So your on ritalin and stratera at the same time? How is that working out for you?

I'm not on Ritalin and Strattera, I'm on Strattera and probably not for much longer Dexedrine as well. It works out well at times and others not.

I rather liked the fact that Strattera slowed my mouth down, but then I tend to verbal impulsiveness.

I had pressured speech from strattera it's like hyperactivity the next generation, literally, I loved the way strattera made me feel, but it made me manic, not hypomanic, but literally psychotic and delusional. Straight up grandeur. I take dexedrine and it makes me quiet. Without meds i talk constantly.

In this post dated 1/18/07 you said you were on ritalin and nothing about strattera

I THOUGHT I sensed something other than Strattera in your blood from this post! Me its Dexedrine, my excuse for also writing in caps.

No seriously, its neat how you can tell what drugs people are on from thier posts -- and far and away Strattera proves to be the most sane of all ADHD medications judging by everyone's concise, linear and sane writing in the Strattera forum.

Hehe look at me, I'm on Ritalin --

Hey everyone! :D How are things? :eyebrow: Just wonderin! :p Have a great day everyone! :) :) :) :) :) :)

so your on strattera and not ritalin, and your taking dexedrine with strattera? How is that working out?

I'm taking just a little bit of Straterra (25mg) and a little bit of dexedrine (10mg) and actually I find its working out not terribly. Thats entirely not a regiment any doctor has given me so I can't say for sure its medically condoned. But I like it so far, a lot. 40 of S. with any dexedrine I've found way too much, I get obsessed and daydreamy.

Currently taking 120mg strattera in the morning. I'm glad someone mentioned this, it seems like I'm less able to respond quickly to people, esp. when they say something dumb. I find myself staring at them (briefly) before responding. I HATE this!!! My responses to people are a lot less colorful than they used to be. In fact, I'm a lot less colorful than I used to be. I feel this is one of the drawbacks to medicating for ADHD. I was a bubbley, caring, sort of emotional person...Now, while most of my symptoms are relieved, my friends think I've dried up. I find myself trying to compensate, but feel fake. This is saddening for me, because I feel that our relationships (close and otherwise) and the way we make others feel when they're around us is important! Since the strattera had done much to improve other areas of my existance, I'm not going to stop taking it. I just wish it left the better parts of me the way I was.:(

yahhuh! you hit it on the nose how this makes medicating ADD a drawback! you have no idea the extent to which I've been preoccupied with thinking about this all day today, it sucks!
