Has anyone tried this? It is hailed as a cure all treatment of ADD/ADHD....and a long list of other conditions.

I think its pretty expensive sugar.

I really have't been able to find much info about this other than all the advertiments for it.

Me either, and anyone with info, is basically a dealer...not very objective.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I have actually been selling Mannatech products (maker of Ambrotose) for a couple of months now and mentioned to my friend the other day that it is difficult for me to recommend them when I feel like people believe I'm only a fan so that I can make a buck. The truth is the science behind the products is exciting. There are amazing testimonies that make you want to tell all the people you love so that everyone can benefit. They are expensive, though, and that's why so many people who take them actually sell them too. The $ you make helps support the cost of the products for your own family. They are expensive because of the way the sugars are harvested. They tried selling them initially at healthfood stores, but the cost wasn't comparable to the other products and there wasn't someone knowledgeable on the differences to explain the benefits. That's 1 of the reasons they've opted to distribute them through network marketing. I'd love to help any way that I can. Please let me know what questions you have and if I can't answer them I know people who can.

As I have said before, ADHD is not a "nutrient input disorder". This all sounds like a giant waste of time if the purpose is to help the general adhd population with adhd symptoms.

You don't have to buy it from a marketer, you can improve your diet to include it.

I was just researching this for my own interest, and like Gingagirl, the adamant rejection of any possible benefits from this nutrient is kicking in my Contrary gene! I may have to try to add it to my diet just because I wanna!!!:D

Just to complete the short version of my story the other nutrients which have helped me greatly is Salmon Oil ( Omega 3 ) and CoQ10 with BioStrath and Argnine a close third and forth. They stabilized me so that I could keep my job but still had performance peeks and valleys throughout the day or week. Is Ambrotose pricy ?: yes. Can you acquire these natural molecules via your diet: not easily. These are unstable molecules when harvested and need to be stabilized via a special (patented) method.
