I rated one of my own threads, not because I thought my thread was particularly illuminative but because I thought the posts that have come from it have been of exceptional value both in terms of being informative and humorous - laughter is the only medicine that is not produced by a pharmaceutical company.. Is it ok to rate your own thread for this reason? or should the rating come from someone else? I will eat humble pie if I've been politically incorrect.

If you were able to rate it (the computer cooperated) then it's fine. If it stunk and you rated it 5 stars, then other people might vote more realistically.

But sure, that's fine...we wouldn't know anyway. ;)

You can rate your own thread but make sure to rate appropriately.
