Hi, i just started dexedrine in the beginning of janurary, around Janurary 7th. For the first day i was on 5 mg 3-4 times daily, and found that i did not feel different at all while on dex, lost concentration, was not focused, etc... So now i have been taking 10 mg 2-4 time daily. Which seems to have been working however, i am getting really sleepy for some reason.

Throughout the day i just feel tired and its hard for me to wake up, takes hours to feel like i didnt just wake up. I get a good amount of sleep, around 8 hours, yet i am still tired. Why is that? I am thinking of switching back to ritalin or trying concerta.

Ive been on adderall xr and had libido problems, small dosages of ritalin, and now dexedrine which is giving me libido problems and sleeping problems just as the adderall xr did. What other options do i have besides concerta and ritalin?

Hmm... I was on ritalin before and suffered the problems you are mentioning.
When I was taking ritalin 10mg up to 5xday..I found myself very exhausted, and could not get enough sleep.

I would and had slept for literally 20 hours and felt dead tired when I finally dragged myself out of bed.

As for Dex, when I first started it, I was waking up very rested. It has evened out for me.. I feel tired and rested depending on my sleeping habits, but, I dont feel quite as exhausted as I did while taking ritalin.
