Thought I'd share that I got an official word on meds and the loss of effect with PMS.
Last month, with a "go ahead and try" from my pdoc, I tried a little bump in meds, taking 10mg of Ritalin on top of my Concerta to deal with that time of the month. It worked beautifully and I was able to keep on track instead of the usual "everything going to heck in a handbasket" 10 days a month.
So when I had my appointment on Wed, he asked how it worked. When I told him how much better I felt he said to keep on doing it. There was no medical risk or evidence against that little bump in dosage for a week or so.
Hope this is helpful.
