i took my prozac last night for the second night took it around 7pm was feeling not tired and didnt feel sick infact was considering eating. about half an hour to an hour after i took the prozac i felt sick really tired jus wanted to lie down, i forced jmy self to eat and could only manga ehalf of my dinner. i forced myself to watch CSI at 9pm and as soon as it was over at 10pm i was fast aslepp didnt wake up today till 9am (on the sofa back killing now!!)

is that normal as it was only 2nd day of taking them dreading taking it tonight

Prozac is a normal med used for bipolar disorder but is usually used together with a mood stabilizer like lithium or depakote. If not, you may switch into a manic state. The side effects may go away with time. You have to give them a chance to work. It takes at least 2 weeks or as much as 8 weeks for the drug to get full effects. I'd suggest staying on the drug for at least 2 months (unless serious problems arise of course) and seeing if it works for you. Keep us updated and let us know what happens either way...
