I went to the doc last week and told him that the strattera seems to not be working anymore for add. I also told him that the strattera helps out with stress a lot.

Im currently on 120mg a day and he was willing to put me on adderall but take away the strattera completly.

I know that quitting the strattera cold turkey will totally mess with my head because if I forget to take it 1 day, It makes me feel like crap..

I told him that I will stay with the strattera since it makes me stress free.

I m just wondering if it is worth switching to adderall. Will adderall help with the comedown on stattera? Has anyone swithched and what is the comparison with strattera to adderall?

Any feedback would be great.

My doctor gave me a small dose of adderall along with the strattera because I was still having symptoms of the ADHD. The Adderall for me was difficult to take. I took the XR caplets and had a lot of headaches but I slept like the dead in the evening which I needed. I don't know, I'm at the p oint where I"m so frustrated with it all to be honest! I felt great on the strattera for 6 mo now here I am nothing's working!!!! If you don't like how one doc is treating, worth a second opinion?
