Hey Gang,

Just thought I'd put an update on, if I'm honest I think I've been a bit forum phobic.
I was reading other peoples posts and what-nots,
thinking theirs would have more to say than mine would. (but thats another story!)

Anyway, I got diagnosed back in October '06- inattentive type ADD.
Which is a great relief to know for sure.
I'm based in the U.K and got diagnosed at the Maudsley Hospital.
I think it took, from my G.P appointment to the diag about 6 months
maybe a bit longer.
To quote my doctor "So, you were right then!" :rolleyes:

Went to the Hospital last week for a blood test and ECG.
I've been self medicating for a while......a long while!!!!
If all goes well with the results I should starting Atomoxetine within
two weeks.
I'm also down for some group therapy in the next 3 months.
Can you believe, 1 session a month for 6 months:eek:

No doubt I'll have some questions about the meds, I'll keep you posted.

I was diagnosed with my Asperger's Disorder when I was 15. I'm 19 now. That makes it 2002 I believe. that's about 5 years ago for my dx. I'm taking zoloft and risperdal right now for it but I know it will change at some point in time in the near future...
