Hello everyone,
Well, first of all, I'm new to the forums. I landed here after a long search through google and a lot of try-and-fail attempts.
Have I been diagnosed? No; or at least not yet. I haven't been subjected to any 'formal' or legit test. I have only taken a couple of online tests that tell my I'm very likely to be an Aspie.
Normally, to be honest, I wouldn't care. However, I do care because I really felt as if it hit home. I already knew about the 'symptoms' of AS, but it was only until I fully investagted them and decided to take some tests that I finally seriously consider being an Aspie.
Other than that, I think I have had a pretty funcional life. Yes, social situations tense me up, and plenty of times I don't know how to keep a conversation going (oh, how I beg for being with people that talk a lot! Then I only have to stay quite and nod now and then), but still I have been able to 'mask' up my anxiety. Besides, where I live (and not to mention inside my family's "thinking frame") it's not often to think about things like Autism, let alone consider being formally diagnosed.
So that's pretty much my introduction. I hope to get to know many of you and make a lot of friends. Oh, and if you could give me any link to further tests, I'd be eternally grateful :o
