 I don't understand it. I'm looking at a paper a student must have up about selling a credit? Is it even possible or even legal (college law legal) to sell a credit to someone else? I'm thinking no but asking for input on this...

Just to let you know, I'm not buying the credit even if it was ok by the college.

I'm just curious, is it ok to buy a credit from someone? I don't think so...

It seems unlikely that it would be legal.

That's what I thought. I wasn't gonna buy the credit anyways. I'd like to earn my credits instead of taking the easy way out. How would the college know you bought a credit if they aren't notified...

(to self): I'm wondering if anyone will buy the credit?...

Seeing this thread again kind of makes me wonder who even is selling the credit anyways?...

i would buy a credit! heck, sounds better than dropping a course and losing money because I couldnt get assignments in on time

doesnt sound legal though, you can't buy a degree...

Though not legally yes you can buy a degree over the internet... I know this is illegal and since I want to earn my degree and have allready been in school for 2 years now it'd be useless for me to buy a degree. I still see the credit for sale; I'm doubting that it's gonna be sold by now...

I don't know that it is even possible to transfer credits between people, but I do know someone that paid another person to take a class for them. I guess it isnt hard if the same person shows up every day. I have never had my id checked for a class. I have to agree though, Id rather earn what I get.

Still potential selling. I'm not buying it... literally and figuratively...

I think the College/University checks to see if the school offering the course credit is 'accredited'.

I doubt i could get, for example, a 'diploma mill' Statistics Course and apply it back to my BScN degree, so I could graduate.

As for taking other people's exams, I cannot see how easily that would be done. A test like the LSAT requires a THUMBPRINT. An exam at a University requires a Student Card and a Signature and a D.O.B.

Who wants to always be looking over their shoulder about losing their degree if they get 'found out'? Creepy.

The paper is gone. Either the credit was bought, the seller gave up, or some other outside force has taken over the piece of paper...
