I'm "stealing" this idea from the strattera section I know. I want to have a sticky for Asperger's success stories like there is for strattera success stories. I had great successes despite my asperger's disorder. I got into college with less than a 2.0 gpa in high school. I am doing well in college. No 'A' yet but I'm working on it. This semester is going very well so far and I even have lot's of friends here at college. I'm like mr. popularity here at college. I think the meds are helping me too. I never not tell someone that I'm on medications. I tell everyone that I need meds to manage my condition so I guess that helps people appreciate me more. Everyone says I have a great personality and I'm glad I'm me. If there was some magic "cure" for asperger's disorder I would not take it as I like being me and being an Aspie. :) ;) :D

Great news Andy! Glad to hear you are doing well.

Always nice to hear a success story.

All the best! :)

Thank you. I'm hoping to get a stimulant added soon.

I took a high dose of Zoloft in college and found it made me very out going
and social(read your signature with you rx's).

Yeah a stimulant might help a lot with college. Alone Zoloft can make you kinda sleepy and I'm sure Risperdal makes you a little tired.

The risperdal does make me tired and more inattentive than without it...

I think now that I'm adjusting to the risperdal a bit more the inattention is decreasing a little bit. That's good for me being a college student.
