Hey have any of ya'll noticed a decrease in your sex drive...I've been on Focalin xr for a month now and have had absolutely no sex drive...which is causing me some problems...you know feeling like a failure as a woman because I can't give my fiance one of the basic aspects of a relationship...He says he doesn't need sex but I'm not sure if he's just saying that to make me feel better...I know this is an over share...but I needed somewhere to just put this down in writing and get it out there. :( Anyone else had this problem...I went to my doctor yesterday but it didn't really hit me until this morning that the medication could be responsible for my severly decreased sex drive...

You might want to try a different med. I have the same problem you are having when on Methylphenidate (not Focalin but close), lack of sex drive, when on higher doses. Adderall on the other hand revs my libido up. By the way I am male, and I know of other males that have this same problem. Do a search of Concerta and Ritalin forums, it is brought up from time to time. What is wierd is some people libido goes ballistic on the meds while some take a nose dive.
