Hi Universal, I was diagnosed with a learning disability many yr ago too. I personally am on Straterra, because I take other medication for Epilepsy and my doctor will not put me on stimulates.

I am not qualified to give you that information but I can tell you that any medication reacts differently with every persons system, and other factors. Have you talked to your parents, friends, or family doctor. What about talking to the doctor who would be presribing them?

In my opinion, if you dont have to take medication dont, I would rather work through the problems with therapy. Medication alone does not work wonders alone. Med and therapy are the best combination. You can learn different skill to help you concentrate, to focus, to stop procastinating.... and more. Here is a good site I think it is worth looking at. .... www.livingwithadd.com (http://www.livingwithadd.com)

If you are looking for more information, check out the forums search enging or www.bigsplace.com (http://www.bigsplace.com)

I hope this helps.

No i dont think you are depressed but then i dont know you.... Okay if you have to take meds then I would talk to you doctor to see what they say. For learning disabilitlies I dont know if there is anything that can help, I know staterra has helped me some but I am working on managing my time with a therapist too.
