Just wondering how many of you have also been through an insane number of schools, houses, lives?
I've went to about 9 different schools (during grades k-12), and moved houses more times that that... As a kid I loved it. I hated staying in one place for too long. Now though, the idea of staying somewhere more than a year seems like torture.
Is that common in people with ADHD? Even if it's not, how has it impacted your life?
I'm just the opposite, so I'd say it's not an ADD trait.
But then again, I'm not a Dr.
I went to the same school system from grade 2-12.
I still talk to some of the same people I talked to during that time.
The house I live in was my grandparents (I bought it when my grandmother died).
Maybe I'm methodical and hate change.
I understand what you are talking about a little bit though.
My parents divorced, and I moved around a bit, while trying to go to College.
Very uncertain times, and a trying time emotionally, not knowing where I would be next, until I bought this house.
As to wether or not its common, I dont know, but I have moved around A LOT! I went to three different school (I didnt have much choice about that), and since becoming an adult have moved to a new residence 11 times and had 15 jobs (in about a 10 year period). It sounds like a lot to me.

I have phases where I am pretty stable then I have phases where changes occur every few years. I am unsure about the childhood moving/changes ect. . . being a reflection of your own ADD; however it may reflect the possibility that you inherited if from one {if not both} of your parents.
