Hi Im new here and figured i would introduce myself to get started.I am 30 years old, female, and just recently became aware that i have ADD.in a way this is a relief because i know now why things have always been so "all over the place" for me.at the same time i am hoping to develop new ways of thinking/organizing my life to make it a bit easier on myself.i hope to meet some of you and share and learn :) peace oh yeah...i am especially interested in any things people have found helpful to kick that "motivation" in to do things that you have to do but dont interest you.i find this exceedingly difficult...

Welcome, scatterbrain. Your experience sounds very similar to my own, except I've got a few years on you!;) For those really boring task that I can't stand, I do them while I'm on the phone. I talk to my best friend just about everyday, and I use that time to do the boring no-brainers. Fold laundry, do dishes, etc. The conversation stops me from getting bored with the task.
