Right now I use generic adderall which only lasts 3 hrs a day, whats been the most effective all day medication for you guys? Concerta, addereall xr, etc?

As meds work differently for different folks, I expect you'll get all sorts of answers to this question.

For me, Strattera (which is supposed to last all day) lasts 1/2 a day.

for ppl who took the immediate release adderall, do you get the same effectiveness from Adderall XR for the full 6 hours its supposed to last?

Many people who take longer acting stmulants still need to either take them twice a day or take a long acting with a short acting. Concerta is supposed to last up tpo 12 hours but doesn't in most people.

We also have to remember (and so do the MDs) that ADD is a 24 hours conditions and most people have longer than 12 hours days. ADD and life don't stop adter 12 hours.

I take Ritalin LA twice and day and it seems to work well. I can't take Concerta because the relaese system in in upsets my digestive system but I also took that twice a day for the short time I was on it.

too bad they dont have variety prescriptions of a weeks worth of all of em :D. its annoying how they make you get a months worth everytime.
