I am in the middle (should be closer to the end!) of doing my Master's degree. I just started treatment for add this past week and things are going great so far but I am already so far behind with deadlines that while catching up on the old ones I am still missing some current deadlines. And there is no way I will be done in time to not have to pay for an extra semester. The school has no problem lettign you pay for the extra time, but I would prefer to try for an extension based on a newly diagnosed learning difficulty and keep my $1500.

Anyway, as far as accomodations go, has anyone asked for an extension on a degree requiring a thesis such as a Master's or even PhD? I would like to hear of your story whether you got the extension or not. What kind of documentation did you need and what hoops did they make you jump through? How long was the process? I am going to discuss this with my school on Monday to see if it is even an option there.

I have never heard of course extentions. You can talk to the Dean of the college and see if there is such a thing as an extention or your consellour in your college of profession.
