As you all know my Dr is happy to let me trial dex & ritalin...together.. if it suits me, or how I find it works best for me..

I have discovered these past 6 months or so I can take different doses or combinations to SUIT different outcome :p EG..to

CONCENTRATE TOTALLY..
2 x 10mg ritalin

but to
CONCENTRATE on conversation
1 x ritalin and 2 x 5mg dex

and to RELAX and be *me*, while SITTING and listening (nearly LOL)
2 x dex 5mg
..
so, how weird is it, that I have figured out 3 different medication combos for 3 totally different outcomes :-)

I can now decide...umm..do I need

TOTAL 100% focus for an hour or 2 ? ...
or do I just want to sit still and relax..
or do I need to sit and join a sensible conversation..

:D :D
I was happy with the dex, happy with the combo..but astounded at my ability to decide the best treatment for the optimum outcome :D

yah..go me :D
PS I love my Doc..LOL..even at $175 a visit

Wow, congratulations on finding something that works for you (and on finding such a helpful doctor!). I'm pretty early in my med trials myself, so hopefully my doctor will let me try out a few more things and I'll find what works for me.

That's really cool. I got confused (maybe so early in the morning...!) when reading that and didn't understand the use of 'concentrate' until I got to the third item.

I thought "concentrate" meant - a very strong compound (like how you say 'orange juice concentrate')

I thought "concentrate on conversation" meant - using very strong compounds CONVERSELY with each other...

finally when i got to the third heading I understood it all....
