Does anyone here listen to Tony Robbins? (motivational speaker)
He gets me motivated and inspired. He boosts your confidence, but it also makes you think that your not doing enough in your life. Right now, I don't know what i want out of life. You have to know what you want before you can set goals.
I say if he works for you great! He doesn't do much for me besides annoy me...lol

I have listened to him before but he is not some one i listen to on a regular basis. My problem isn't lack of motivation I am already plenaty motivated it is the picking of a direction I have a problem with.
Mead...
If it's direction you need, it's not "Tony Tony" it's "Tom Tom." :D
If you don't watch TV, you won't get it.

I am the same way Tara. I use to like him but like the preachers on religion and spirituality they annoy me.
I deal with my belief privatly in my own way. I dont want someone tell me and yell at me about how to believe. Do you know where I am coming from does this make sense.
Some of what he says is useful but some of it is just crap. If anyone in my own family were so plastic and unreal I'd have to cover their mouths with duct tape. Just, listen to what helps you and when it's not helping, turn it off.
I did find Neuro-Linguistic Programming helpful; self-hypnosis, is another term for it. I really was doing it to myself all the time, but it was negative messages, like "You're such a klutz"; and I'm making an effort to phrase things in a positive way now, like "I'm getting more graceful all the time". I don't know for sure that I am, but I do feel better about myself. ANd in other ways, that I can actually control, it really does help; I tell myself that I eat healthy foods and exercise every day, and I find I do eat better and exercise more. It becomes more of who I really am, when I say it to myself enough. But it has to be realistic and doable and something I really care about.

All I hear from him is my faults and what I do wrong. Futher more his methods that he talks about only bring me to realisations that I am not normal enough follow. They sound great but they are repeats of what I already know in my head. The reason I cannot complete the tasks hes talking about is not because I am not doing what he suggests.
