View Full Version : Testing anxiety

I am so frustrated, I am taking a distant learning class so I can control my environment a little better.

I have studied for probably 50 hours and reviewed the material multiple times.

I spent 10 hours working on it yesterday, another 2 this morning. Today I went in to take my test and my mind went blank.

I sat there for 2 hours doodling around trying to recognise the math problems and couldn't. It took me 4 and a half hours to finish. I kept looking at them and changing my answers. It felt almost like I'd never even seen the stuff before.

Why is this such an issue with me. It makes it so hard when I feel like what is the differance in whether I try or not?

How am I supposed to deal with this anxiety that comes over me the second I get there to take my test?
