ok i have to hurry with this post since i have class in a few minutes, but i'd like to ask everybody- Has anyone found substantial information on the inattentive type of ADHD? ( Btw.- There seems to be alot of confusion over the correct nomenclature) "ADHD- primarily inattentive" Is the 'official' name i believe. ?
Anyways, has anyone found chapters in their books, websites, etc. dedicated to ADD Without the H? I've found a few informative sites, which i'll post when i get back from class. However, there seems to be only so much research and knowledge on this type of ADD!

Alright, i'm back and i guess i'll just post what i've found so far, besides the posts (few) of others on this forum pertaining to ADD w/o .
Here are comparisons of the two different types:
http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1474811&rendertype=table&id=T1
http://www.ldpride.net/addsub-types.htm
Here's a pretty enlightening pub:

And then there's also Dr. Russel Barkeley's lecture which has some info, and can be found somewhere at "schwablearning.org".
Well that's it pretty much.

HA! Alright sorry if this post seems redundant, because i found one just like it in another section. here it is: http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35663
But perhaps some people would like to treat this thread more as a compilation of links to info and previous posts specifically for i-add? Just an idea, and sorry that this post is specific to add-w/o, but i'd be more than glad to get any info from anyone! Thanks :-)

The information does seem to be all over the place and not all "bunched up" as I'm sure you'd like it to be. I have inattentative ADD so feel free to ask questions if you do have any or share experiences.
We may not relate to some of the 'classic' ADHD symptoms, but there are many symptoms that do overlap. I may not be 'physically' hyperactive, but man oh man.. try to keep up during a conversation with me, and you'll soon see hyperactive! *lol*
