Are you giving thanks that it is turkey season Dave? :D Shoot, that was one bad pun. If you have to see to aim your rifle, why do hunters sit in a blind or do you beak around the corner? If you eat too much turkey do you waddle away from the table? Be careful, too much wild turkey can impair your ability to hunt and drive. Enjoy the flyby shooting and make sure someone rides shotgun watching out for low-flying turkeys out for revenge. :D Just had to do it-once I start, the puns just won't stop. Ah, your new hunting name-Gizzard Dave.

Hey, a red hawk landed in my yard one-in a rural town-day several years ago-it was absolutely phenomenal to watch! Your name made me think of it!

LOLOLOL, I had a red tail hawk land 2' from my face one day when he came in with his talons out and veered off at the last second as I ducked and perched right in front of me trying to figure out what I was. It seemed like 5 minutes but it was only for a few seconds.

Hey Dave,
I was planning on going out and then figured that I wouldn't have time this season. Haven't scouted and haven't had time to rig up a decent shottie. Would likely use a terror .655 and hevishot. Don't own a red dot and since I know JS about them I probably will hold off on buying on.

Haven't been here in awhile - last time I came in I couldn't find the mens forum got frustrated and left. :D

Some things never change!

Wow Dave, there are wild turkeys everywhere! Guess all you hunters will be flocking to the shotties! Watch out for gobbledygook. The low flyers are dangerous! What if Hitchcock had put wild turkeys in the movie, BIRDS? Oh, boy....

Well I got a 22 pound Rio in Oklahoma it was raining and a little snow, lighting and high winds but I took my meds and endured. What a great 4 days. My friend and I decided to fly back 2 days later then we were supposed too because of the big storm that swept the states and we would have sat for a day of two in the air ports so the guide said we could hunt and not charge us to the 2 extra days. It was a great trip.

Motorbrain did you register on the forum ? if so what your handle.
