ok here goes... i'm 21 years old, in university, doing my 3rd year in biochemistry. Recently I got involved with a girl who is in my program. She doesm't know I'm ADD or that I take adderall. In the past I have had instances where occassionally I was impotent with a girl while on adderall. Now this occurs if say I'm not planning to have sex, which is often the case, if things kinda just happen spontaneously. My question is... what do you in the event of a spontaneous situation, if you are on your meds, and things heat up? I mean the obvious asnwer would be to avoid such a situation in the first place while on meds, or to have viagra, which I do have, but even that will take 20-25 min to kick in so I'd have to preoccupy her somehow in that time span.... Indeed very unfortunate, and probably quite common. Of course the worrying itself probably has the effect of increasing impotence on its own. I mean how do you tell the girl that its not her, without telling her you're taking amphetamine based medication. Thanks.

If you have any sign of a receding hairline, you can always tell her you are taking Propecia... It's not amphetamine-based, but I've heard complaints of penile unresponsiveness from men taking it... :D

viagra, which I do have, but even that will take 20-25 min to kick in so I'd have to preoccupy her somehow in that time span....Well, in the first place, a good lover would "preoccupy" her for 20 minutes before the main event anyway, LOL!

But I think if you are close enough to be intimate, you should feel close enough to share that you have ADD and take medication.
