I thought all you pet owners should know there has been a recall of "Iams, Science Diet, Ekanubua, moist pouches of canned Cat and Dog food Apparently numerous cats and and a least one dog died from Acute Kidney Failure after eating the suspected food. They think the animal deaths were caused by either heavy metals or mold in the wheat gluten used. for more inclusive information on suspected pet food and store listings go to menufoods.com/recall. I only hope no more animals and owners have to suffer because of negligience on the part of pet food manufactures and distributors. It really begs the question How did this happen..? Why...? And why put dyes and wheat gluten in pet food in the first place...? Any thoughts, or opinions ?

CBC reported today that the tests done on the pet food keep coming up negative. Until they discover what is in the food it is better to give pets dry pet food.
