I'm just writing this to inform others about a supplement that truly helped me with some of the side effects involved with my Adderall. I am not a doctor. I don't want anyone to get hurt (though, I don't believe anyone will), but I did a lot of searching and would just like to share my results. L-Theanine has helped me greatly. I know it's been discussed in this forum before but I am just sharing my experience. Anyone else use this? Any other supplements help? Thanks.

i got mine at a nutrition store. it works really well. i still feel the effects. i just feel for relaxed and my adderall is still working. i also took a product that combines different types of magnesium.

thanks for the reply. quick question for you though. i have been on adderall xr 20mg/day for about two weeks. it has helped me with my concentration but after 4-5 hours i get easily irritated and have anxiety problems. how has this product worked for you? i wanted a testomonial from an adderall user. plus, is there a certain kind or brand name i should get.

it just relaxes me. there is of course a science behind it. you can google it. yes, it has helped me. but there hasn't been a specific brand that i've used.

L-theanine is an amino acid found in high concentrations in tea, green tea I believe. Tea is supposed to have a tranquilising effect even though it contains caffeine. The tranquilising effect I think is due to L-theanine. I believe the Japanese have known about and researched l-theanine for some time.
