Watch the first 1.5 minutes of this video before you ever consider telling anyone that you struggle with AD/HD or anything else in the DSM...

This isn't anything new. This is just another way to mask discrimination with a politically correct label "unhealthy people".
They need to get a life and do something useful. This is just another reason to turn off the TV...and stay AWAY from youtube.

I thought this was a great visual illustration of how powerful and rampant is the Social Stigma of "disabilities that affect behavior and cognition".
I'm afraid that our teachers, our children's teachers, college professors, our police, judges, employers, landlords, anyone that any of us have to depend on in order to participate in society, all believe (behind closed doors) what this man said in the first 1.5 minutes of this video.
It made me realize that although there have been tons of advances medically speaking to people with these kinds of mental health issues since the age of Freud, in the minds of society basically nothing has changed.

I can't say what I am thinking-just that this is so wrong and Sally is an idiot. There are dangerous people-
But 50% of the population? This guy is a freaking materialist money-grubbing author who wrote the book to make money.
My humble, mentally ill, humble opionion, oops, better stay away from me.

Who cares? Let them think bad about you. I'm personally not ashamed that I have ADD and because I'm not ashamed, I rarely see negative reactions from people.
Even if they do judge me, I don't care. I just enjoy proving them wrong in every way possible.
Perception is reality. If you're ashamed about ADD, other people can easily sense it and it will impact the way they see you.

isnt narcissism a form of mentle illness? seems this guy with his body language and speech patterns fits into this relm. Hey I m just doing what he says and looking out for any one that is not healthy. not really judging him:rolleyes: (oh wait mabe i am, my bad) i agree with the other posters that this is just one more way to seperate us from them, a way to put the normies on a pedistal and any one else left down below looking up.
Which brings us back to the topic of ADHD wannabees, designer disorder of the month and groupies. Hate / Fear mongers just pick a different topic. SSDD.
Re: not being too concerned about what others think: as an individual, this is necessary for survival if you are right and they are wrong. As a group, sometimes what you overlook will bite you in the backside some day.
