I was reading somewhere here where they compared adderall to a tranqualizer to a person with ADD.

I was thinking several semesters ago I was taking a Computer Science class that required some intense programming. I noticed that when I drank a beer or a glass of wine I would program better.

It seemed with a little alchohol in me I could keem my thoughs straight and keep the stream of code from my head to my fingers.

So was the alchahol acting like a tranqualizer, like how it was compared adderall?

Adderall isn't a tranq... and alcohol increases dopamine in the brain...on the wrong circuits though mostly...

It was just a comparison. It helps slow things down in my head at least and so does the alchohol. Just thought it was interesting.
