I am currently on 60 mg of amphetamine salts daily and I asked my doctor about trying dex and he said absoubltly no. Ive seen other doctors also and they have been very hesitant about dex. Why are doctors so ready to presecibe addy but so hesitant on dex? and isnt addy more dangerous and additive then dex?

Study up on both, be armed with facts, and if your doctor still refuses then see a new doctor. For what it's worth, I've spoken to several doctors who prescribe both and they say that most patients like Adderall better for it effects.
