Today is my first day of Adderall XR after being on IR for 3.5 months.

I always get excited when I try a new medication :). If there's any such thing as a placebo effect, I would get it for just about any new med.

Anyway, I was able to get my first month's supply for FREE thanks to the adderall XR website:

In the bottom right hand corner there should be a link to a free 30 day supply. I saved $25! There's also a $10 cupon thing on the website.

The catch is in some states it is not valid. The free 30 day trial is not available if you live in New York, so I just used my address in another state and they accepted it here in New York.

You can often ask the doctor's for the free trial as well. Some are kind enough to offer it, some aren't. But they usually have access to it. Mine did it for me, while I was trying different meds, after Concerta left me with to many side-effects to handle. I tried Focalin and Adderall XR...this can get expensive while trying to find a good medication. So that is why most of them offer it.


He gave me a card, looks like a credit card, all I had to do was call and activate it ,and go to the pharmacy with my script, and they gave me a free 30 day supply.

Back at the end of 2004, I received a Plastic Card from the ADHDSupport website which is run by the manufacturer (last I remember it was just "Shire") of Adderall. I had registered at the AdderallXR website because my youngest daughter takes it & I was trying to get info for her. At that time I did take it but only occassionally along with Dextrostat when I had alot of detailed reading to do. It was good for a 30 days supply of any of the mgs Adderall comes in & it had to be activated like the one Justhope referred to.

The company also mailed me some information & continued to. I moved back in 2005, and after I moved I went back to the site because I was looking for some info. I requested the Booklets that they offered for Free also. And about 6 weeks later I received a Coupon good for a 30 Days supply of Adderall XR in the mail. I haven't taken it in a long time & unfortunately the Coupon was non-transferable, so my daughter couldn't use it. Then again about a yr later I received another Coupon good for the same thing. I burned them before I put them in the trash ( I know that's a bit overly causious...but I felt better doing it that way) A 30 days supply of AdderallXR 30mg is between $ 150.00-$165.00 or was back then.
