Hey Everyone.....I have a thing about middle names and I just want to ask everyone if they have a middle name and what is it???...mine is MAXINE mine was given to me after my mothers mother.

28 and a cane? ha ha ha ha ha, no sympathy dear. I wish I were so young again. Um, I have been 39, 14 times! :D Still don't have a cane and walk 3-5 miles a day too!

Mine is Marie, named after my maternal great-grandmother.

Mine is Beth, no, not Elizabeth, just Beth, after a great aunt. I always thought it was pretty cool, it's original. I always felt lucky because my sisters got the middle names Agnes, after my grandmother, and Claudia, after my aunt. I think I got the best one.

Ellen. It's my mom's middle name. For some reason as a child I always hated it. now it's just *meh*

The boys are Asa, after my grandfather, and Archer becuse hubby and I wanted to stop the "name fight."

Mine is Joyce, named after my mom's stepmother's middle name,(but was like a real grandmother) She died in a car reck and was the sweetest, giving person I had ever known.My Aunt(her daughter)died a year after her death and her middle name was also Joyce.So after the two and as naming her from me I gave my daughter the middle name Joyce.It is a very important name for me.

This is cool. Mine is Gerald, a name suggested by my uncle and I like it so much that I can't write my name without it.

All I can do is be thankful I didn't get any of my aunt's names. They are so Texas back country-and from the 20's - 30's uck! Edith? One example. Whew.

My kids middles are Benjamin, Elizabeth, Faith. If the girls had been boys, I would have chosen Steele, my dad's middle and really cool! Although he hated it growing up. My husband had an uncle named Henry Henry _________. All 8 boys had the middle name-Henry.

Well I dont have a middle name. YEP that is what I said, I dont have one. I was named after my Great Aunt Giustina who raised my Dad. He grew up with his cousins Geno and Rena ( really Catherin).

My said my name was too long to have a middle name. They named me Christine. I always wondered why? Why not Giustina? I love that name... I wonder if it has an italian reference... does it mean Chrisitne in Italian.... that would be cool.

Wow!!! I'm surprised by the responses...lol:D yeah well it was either a choice of Maxine or Lorna-May after my father's mother and Mummy put her foot down and gave me this poxy name..:p anyone who calls me Maxine, Maxie or Max doesn't live to tell the story...lmao:p :p .

That's the reasoning behind my kid's middle names. I wasnted them to have something kinda "normal" but not very common, and an odd middle name so they can go by either when they grow up depending on personality types.

Jeez, that's rough. Bar as in a "wet bar" or bar as in British American Racing. Yeah go with #2, maybe he'll win a F1 race and be rich! ;)

I don't have a middle name.

My mother's logic is when we got married we'd use our maiden name initial then our married name.

Funny thing is not one of us girls did that. We just use our first name and our married names.

First middle son's middle name...Alante (variation of dad's middle name Alan) and his other..Cashmere...Cash for short...yeah okay I said I was loopy...we never call him Cash...never.....his full name...Darius Alante Cashmere...poor kid

I have 2 middle names, Joyce is after my grandmother on my fathers side and Pearl is after my great grandmother, i'm not sure what side of the family she was from i didn't know her too well if at all

I am Christine (no middle name) last name is too long.

I was named after my Great Aunt Guistina .... There is no J in the Italian alphabet nor is there a K, Y, and there are a few more.

My middle name is "Clayton" named after a great town that was build on clay, sometime during the "no one cares" Era.

However, I personally like to tell people that my middle name is "Vhan"
(in fact, it IS my middle name...at least that is the name I put on the cover of my bible!)
