^ Sunny 300 days a year

^ Too far from big city.

v How do you feel or what are you thinking about the tragedy at Virginia Tech?

^ I just read in New Scientist that people respond with much more empathy to a personal tragedy (famous Steve Irwin with his loving family) then to a massive tragedy (Virginia Tech), it's a coping strategy. I think they were relating it to the growing body count in Iraq.

v See any good movies recently?

^ I go back and watch my favorite good movies-Young Dr. Frankenstein and Too Wong Fu and others.

> I agree, and have read the same reasons for the response to mass tragedies-easy to relate to one person-but not to the deaths of many. I guess I don't fit the norm-perhaps because of life experiences. Oh, I need a new soapbox-my is used so frequently it is not tall enough anymore!

v What issues would you like to soapbox about?

^ to try and be the voice of those who can not or do not have a voice to use. to be an avocate to those that others seem to trample all over. to let the world know that their actions have consiquenses and that someday they will be sorry for the harm they did to those who seem less than them.

^ If I could do something over again I wouldn't have quit playing hockey in grade 4. It took me five years to remember how much I love being active.

v What was the best thing that happened to you this week?

^ One of the best things that has happened to me this week is that I found the phone number of a dear friend from Grammar school days and we spoke on the phone and reconnected and we're planning to stay in touch :D

^ My week was great, thanks for asking ;). I finished my 2nd year exams and am on a break before summer courses start up!
