I was on amphetamine 10 mg(2x day) which was $10 with my insurance and recently i changed to Adderall XR 20 mg to just try and it was $40!! with my insurance the cvs pharmacy said there are no substite or generic for 20mg.

So I am asking you what should I do? is there any substitute because this medication is expensive.

There is no generic version of Adderall XR...there are only generic versions of the Instant Release form.

bummer....i know, it stinks...
