Ok, so I looked through the old threads about posting a picture but I can't figure out where the manage attachments button is. I want to post a picture from my computer into a response to a thread. Can anyone help me???

I save my pictures to my free Yahoo photo albums. When I want to share one on this forum, all I have to do is:

go to the photo I want to post,
right-click on the photo image
click on properties-it is at the bottom of the menu
select the url line on the properties window and copy
return to the forum thread and click on the yellow icon above-the one with the mountains and sun
paste the url into the the window that pops up
close the window and your picture will appear on your post!
Yahoo is free-if you don't have a photo album on there, it is easy to set up!

hope this helps. I am sure there are other ways, but this is what works for me!

Did you get a Yahoo account yet? The just changed the ways you can download photos and it is much easier-plus you can add quite a few at a time. It just takes a bit of time to download them.

i have tried to post mu photos in the way that you have suggested but it didn't work. does anyone knows about any other means of sending images?

This is what i usually do to post an image on a forum.I already have an account on many image hosting sites. So,first you should create an account on any free image hosting site. if you don't know any you can choose any from these:www.photobucket.com, www.uploadit.org (http://www.2and2.net), www.2and2.net.Then upload your pictures to your account on that image hosting site. To display your picture on the forum, copy the url of the pic and paste it in between the image tags-
That's all.It's simple,isn't it? Good luck!

I find this site easy to use http://imageshack.us/ just browse your comp for the photo, then copy and paste the appropiate code into the forum, easy peasy lol.

My IMG and HTML is off,is that why my pic doesnt show?

You cannot post pics in this section of the forums. Thus, IMG and HTML are turned Off
