Well, after battling the "hangover" aches, pains, and headache associated with Adderall, I have discovered a way to take care of it. I do yoga! I know, sounds kooky, but the beginner stretches, even for a few minutes, make me feel so much better. When I start to feel foggy and hungover, I go and do a couple beginner excercises for 2-3 minutes. Then I am usually good for an hour or two. When I start to feel my body tightening up again and getting that muscle tension feeling, I stop and do a couple more for a few minutes. Try it, you might like it! =) A link I found helpfull is: http://yoga.about.com/
They walk you through basic yoga depending on skill level. My theory is that the headaches and such come from a muscle tension thing caused by the adderall - stretching and yoga loosen everything up and counter the "tightening" effect of adderall. It works for me, even better than ibuprofen. Here's hoping this might help someone else too with a similar struggle.

Do you think someone should consult their doctor before starting this on yoga?

IIRC, some poses are contraindicated (ill advised) for some conditions. (e.g. pregnancy, hypertension, brain aneurysms, types of slipped discs (anterior; posterior), etc.)

Stimulants seem to cause tight muscles, so i'd imagine asanas (yoga poses) would help loosen things up...

You can find poses at www.yogajournal.com (http://www.yogajournal.com) . They also list pose warnings, as Edward wisely suggests.
