Hi everyone!

I've been away for almost 4 months on a semester abroad study in Ireland. It was an amazing expierience. It's good to be home though. I've missed the people here and all the topics. Hopefully now that summer is starting I"ll be able to get back into the swing of "Foruming".

I created some work I"m really proud of while I was away, and met some people that will be lifelong friends. Dancing and walking a lot in Ireland, I"ve returned 15 pounds lighter than when I left. somthing I"m really proud of. I"m trying to keep it up because it seems to be helping me overall.

I start my summer job in a few weeks. Spray tattoo at a waterpark..it's not much but it pays the bills. I'm also going to be illustrating a children's book freelance and hopfully painting a few murals in the city.

I"m going to be a senior next year, so my Illustration Degree project is fast approaching. I"m exploring topics now. I"m really excited about it. Money is tight this year, but hopfully I"ll be able to make more puppets this summer. Time will tell. If I get the chance I'll post some pictures from my trip here.
Well, I guess that it for now. It's good to be back. I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I hope to see you all around.

thanks guys!

I'd love to tell you about it Chris. The tuition and housing was covered with the same money I would have used anyway at my home college, so I was lucky that the price wasnt that much different. But living expenses were costly. Ireland is very expensive. so bring plenty of money for food and entertainment. I also spent a lot on art supplies. I got a few inexpensive suvenirs so It wasn't like I was going crazy. So it will be pricy. I'd say if you're going to stay as long as I stayed (3 1/2) months you should bring about 2000 dollars to cover entertainment, food, suvinirs, gifts. I have no idea what the conversion rate is for italy. Do they use Euros?

I am not sure Aizlyne, I need to look into it through the college. It would be through the international studies department at the college.

I would like to know how you went about it signing up for the classes and all when you have time.
