Does anyone know why hospitals send someone home that is going to Die? They did the same thing on my Dad and now Sister. Is that not really a bad thing. When they die at home, to my experience its a pretty creepy spot in the house after that. I don't know why, just is. After my Dad died even a couple years later the spot he passed away in always was weird. He passed in the living room watching TV. Sorta in his sleep. The house is still set up like it was for the past 36 years. When I was staying with my Mom after that, when I would fall asleep watching TV in the same recliner, same spot, same position, and wake up, a very weird feeling looking at your legs under the blanket when you wake up.

Instead of being at her house she is at my Mom's. Would that not just be creepy for her 2 kids my Mom's grandkids after all this happens? That would be 2 people to pass away in the same house. Just don't get why they send people home like that. Is that not harder or am I just weird?:confused:

Generally people (with terminal diseases) prefer to die at home.

Dying in hospital is a horrible thing. Most people want to avoid it.

This is why HOSPICES exist.

What can make dying at home more comfortable is if the person can get Home Care or a Visiting Palliative Care Nurse and Doctor.

Yea the Hospice is there too. I guess it has to be some better than a hospital. Just seems creepy after. I dont know why but it is.
