Recently, I overheard my 10 year old son talking to his father and 8 year old sister. While busy with the baby I did not hear all the conversation; but, what I did overhear was enough to throw me into a panic and send my heart racing.
What I (thought) I heard was Dakota talking about going to a make out party and Doug giving him advice on how to go about it. You can imagine my panic!!! Not only is his father allowing him to go to a make out party but, is actually giving him advice in front of our 8 year old.
So, I burst into the room guns blazing; First I rip into Doug about allowing such a travesty,,,then I rip into Dakota for even thinking that I would consider such a thing.
Next thing I know both kid's are looking at each other with confusion and my husband is on his hands and knees pointing at me laughing . This is were I realize once again I'm lost and need to stop this ride and ask direction's and FAST!!!
Turns out Dakota did not know how he was going to "make it to the party.":p (oopsy daisy).
So, my advice to you my dear friends when you feel over loaded with life's daily chores and feel as if your brain is about to short out. Take a deep breathe, calm yourself and assess the situation before you take your son to be nuetered and your dog to school or put your purse in the car seat and your baby in the trunk.;)
And if all else fails my dear, well loved, soon to be roommates; sing with me "THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY HAHA, THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY HOHO, THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY HAHAHOHOHEHE TO THE FUNNNNYYYYYYYY FARM!!!!
lol Sorry, couldn't help but laugh at myself today!!!It's not fair to laugh at others if first you cannot laugh at yourself Hugs and much love Cherity
