Every 3 months he see his behavioural doctor. Check him over and see how the meds are doing and how he is doing.
Well in 3 months he grew a 1cm and now is 50 pounds. He is 8 but he is the size of a 6 year old. 1/2 foot shorter than most 8 year olds.
They are just consern now that he is peeing alot esp at night so they want to check his sugar. Poor kid he had to get blood work for a page long test. He also lost a pound.
He is on Ritalin SR 20 ( methylphenidate) once a day. It also deals with narcolepsy. His wan'ts too sleep all day and be up all night. His mind is going soo much that he can't sleep. If he is laying down trying to sleep and he stars thinking about what to do he will get up and do it cause he wont be able to sleep untill its done. He can't wait till the next mornin. It also helps him deal with falling asleep at inappropriate times.
Also he has "drug holiday," which he doesn't take it on the weekends.
