I have done several searches here on the forum and nothing showed.

In the afternoon when I am coming off of the Ritalin and before the next dose, the outside of my right eye feels numb. My vision is not blurry, my eye is not irritated, it just feels kinda numb like. Weird:confused:

I have kept my 8am dose to 20mg IR and then 10mg at 12, 3 and 6. I thought that my lessening the dose I may see a decrease in side effect. I was doing(20/20/10- 8am/12pm/4pm) but the rebound was awful.

Other than that, I am having great success!!!!

Any thoughts?

I agree with Imnapl. Phoning your Dr about this is a great idea.

It never hurts to be safe about these things. ;)

I phoned my doctor late Friday. It has actually subsided a little. I also have bad TMJ and when I first started on the Ritalin my TMJ was aggrevated; now it is fine. Then my sinuses were tender; now that has gone away.

It appears my eye numbness happens in the late afternoon and then is gone by morning. She thinks it is a mild side effect that will go away in time. Weird, huh?:rolleyes:

I am sensitive in the face due to TMJ, sinus problems and my head and neck (I broke my neck in 20 places 10 years ago and have neurological deficits). As long as it all goes away in time, I am happy!!
