Hey All,

Just thought I would report my first day of taking just 10MG of Ritalin. I noticed the following - so let me know if this sounds pretty standard more or less.

1. I felt euphoric at first - like I was walking outside my own body.

2. I was full of energy, but it was more focused as opposed to just a general feeling of energy. I think the term used here is energized calm. I wanted to get work done.

3. Ritalin ran out of gas fast - by 12:30 PM after taking the pill at 9:45 AM. I think a need a morning and afteroon pill. Because in the afternoon, I lost that desire to work and went back to surfing the internet like I do when I get distracted.

Yeah I got teh same "Walking outside my body" euphoric feeling the first two times, However I didnt get much of a consantration boost. Im on week two. Next week I go see the doc again to see if we increase the dose or switch to something else. Ritalin wears off to quickly for me as well within 3 hrs the usefullness has gone :-(. BTW... Caffeine does not fair well with ritalin for me. Don't know if this is a known issue, but it's probably best to stick with onlky 1 cup of coffee or small energy drink with ritalin in my opinion lol.

I am on my third day now with 10MG of Ritalin and I have to say that it's not working remotely as well as the first day I took it - which I assume was just because the drug was new to my system. Based on everyone else on here, I am taking a much less dosage, so I think it needs to be upped. I think 20 MG morning and afternoon would be good, but I will see what the doctor says.

This is the fist day for me on 10mg. Yesterday I took 5mg at 8am, 5mg at 12pm and 5mg at 4pm. Today I took 10mg at 8am and I did not feel anything... When is it normal to feel a change?

How do you feel it when drinking coffe? I usually drink much coffee :eyebrow:
