Ok, this is aimed mainly at the inattentive types, but before you started your meds, did you always feel like a quite grumpy person inside?

YES I DID, Actually!! That is a quite accurate way to describe how I felt. I would often say that if I wasn't feeling EXHAUSTED, I was feeling extremely IRRITABLE!! Neither of which is a very pleasant existence.

This is exactly how i feel at times, but I feel exhausted more often than not. :(

I dont think of my self as grumpy, but I do act grumpy allot according to people around me....

as such, yes, but only until I have a full cup of orange black pekoe tea in the morning.

after that I am usually fine. :D

me too, when i am not on my meds i get real down and grumpy. I feel like the world is on my shoulders.

I th ink that there are just those days that people feel grumpy. It isnt due to any diagnoses, just a bad day.

Well, it depends on you med, but if you dont take it it is your body adjusting to the lower levels of the med when it use to a theraputic level on a daily basis, you have shocked your body by not taking the med so there for you dont feel the way you normally do when you are on your meds.

I dont think it has any thing to do with the dx just the fact of your bodys adusting to the lower level of medication in your system.

No, actually. I'm MUCH worse on my meds than off when it comes to being irritable. When I'm off them, I can tend to get depressive sometimes, anxious often (but, I have an anxiety disorder, so... that makes sense), but not really very grumpy.

I'm not on meds for ADD, but I stay grumpy and moody all the time. I'm so sick of it.

No, not grumpy. But DEFINITELY 'hazy' or 'absentminded'.

When I'm not on the meds - my brain slows down - I feel 'lazy' and carefree.
