That's interesting, I haven't really heard anything about this that I know of, but I'm interested to hear more. I looked into it a little, but would also like to see more about it in relation to treating ADHD. I read there was a patch being tested in 2006 to be used in the treatment of ADHD?

it's an MAOI, right? a stimulating antidepressant that affects dopamine, IIRC. they use it in parkinson's too.

a doctor at harvard was supposed to be coming out with a selegiline antidepressant patch a few years ago. or it was a product in development.

i recall research that it extends the lifespan of rats...

Search here and elsewhere for "EMSAM". This is the patch, it's being used for depression. I and others are interested in using it for attention deficit: some people seem to report some effectiveness in places, others get little effect; some clinical trials are currently going on for just this I believe, they are not yet finished. More information, both anecdotal and clinical, is needed.

I plan to email one of the leading ADD doctor/writers about it, and then to hook down a prescription (very expensive, this patch) and give it a whirl.
