I'm 16 yrs old.
I've had trouble in school all my life
this year has been worse than ever
I went to my doctor, he diognosed me as having adhd type 1
he is still trying to find the correct dose of meds for me.
but I'm still failing school.
:confused: what am i suposed to do:confused:
even if i could stay foccused, all of the piled up work, and failing grades are so frustrating that i can't even get my self to work.
please if you have any advise give it to me:( thanks

Ben,

While you're waiting for Divine Intervention (no disrespect intended), some good solutions might be to go speak to your school counselor or vice principal. Explain that you've been diagnosed with ADHD, and what accomodations, under the Government's ADA (American Disabilities Act) can they provide for you, to help you with your classes, work, etc.

Let us know if you need information on that, and I'm sure we'll be able to point you in the right direction.

Also, ask them about tutors, note takers, after school help, etc.
