i'm not really sure if this is an AD/HD thing or not...
do any of you think about what they should have said/done to someone over and over in your head...like if someone said something but you couldn't think then later think of 100000000+ things to say/do that would have been better and picture the whole conversations pros&cons as if you said it?... or am i alone:foot:

That's me. But I think it's more of OCD than ADD.

I do this. Why is it more OCD than ADD?

I *think* that's normal. But I'm not exactly the best at knowing what normal is.

But anyway, if you've just fumbled your words with a nice prospective girl, or screwed up an interview, I think it's absolutely normal to think it over and wish you'd have said something else. Holding on to those thoughts for a long time and not being able to let them go is an ADD thing.

I would go so far to say this is a human thing because I have known people who do not have ADD experience this as well , prehaps not a frequently but they experience it none the less.

yeah but i also mean i can't stop and even if i said the best of what i'm saying in my head i keep going and going... and if i saw a picture of someone i'd think of how many conversations i could have made better and changed things... not all the time but sometimes i accidentally trigger it i guess ....i'm actually surprised of how many conversations just pop in my head from people i haven’t seen in years...

i just wish i could stop it i guess

mjpm: I love your avatar too.

I do this as well. Over really petty things. Every day.
