Hi all! I am new to this forum. I was recently diagnosed. I started taking Adderall XR yesterday....My mind began to feel clearer and I felt as if I had less problems...I had a huge headache and a stomach ache. Today, day 2, the headache is less intense and school seemed much more interesting and easier today. However, I don't feel that great cuz I still have a head ache. Will these side effects (headache, upset stomach) go away? Also I heard Adderall can also treat depression....Yesterday after taking it I seemed to be in a really happy mood.

The headache will go away! The same thing happened to me. It'll take your body a few days to adjust to the med, then the headache will disappear.

I didn't have a stomache ache - but I'd assume that it would go away as well in a few days.
