I was reading symptoms, and it says people with Low Dopamine are likely to be overweight. This is not the case with myself, anyone here overweight?

I ask because I am considering getting on Wellbutrin in hopes of duplicating the effects of Adderall, without the cost. Also, I thought Dopamine kept you awake and alert, and sometimes when I take adderall I fall asleep! (and sleep awesome, better than I normally ever do!)

No, this is not true at all.

Al through having a higher dopamine level makes you feel less hungry which makes you eat less, which in turn leaves you thin. :D

Most people with ADHD who are on stimulants are usually fairly thin, that is due to the drug increasing the dopamine level in ones mind. :)

But I do not think having a lower dopamine level means you eat more, I'm primely inattentive, which of course means I'm low on dopamine, I do not take medication, and I am a twig! :D

I forget to eat, and put off eating, since I don't particularly like it. Often I'll only eat once I'm getting a headache from my blood-sugar dropping through the floor.
